Over the next ten years, the number of all accounting positions will rise by approximately ten percent, which is faster than average. If you’re interested in joining the ranks of chief accountants, prepping and examining finances, you can’t leave getting hired to chance. Despite the growing number of jobs, you’ll still need a powerful resume to sell your abilities as an employee. Your resume is an employer’s first encounter with you; make it count!
To make your resume stand out, remember that certifications matter. If you are a CPA, CFA, CMA, or possess any other license, be sure to include it in the top third of your resume. If you’re short on certifications, play up your educational experience.
