Managing Partner September 1990 to September 2014 Innovator of a groundbreaking sentence analysis method utilized to address writing deficiencies which facilitates student preparation for PSAT, SAT, and ACT examinations. Instructed ~3000 students with overwhelming success and resulting in both Commended and National Merit Scholars. Customized corporate versions of the program to address writing skill deficiencies of employees in the workplace and secured Commercial Metals Company (CMC), a Fortune 500 organization, as a satisfied client. Published an accompanying workbook which is currently in its 7th edition. Currently developing a software version of the program to reach a wider audience.


TEACHING EXPERIENCE Alamo Heights ISD San Antonio, Texas
Substitute English Teacher (Long-Term) February 2014 to May 2014 Taught English (AP and grade level) to juniors. Oversaw AP test preparation including writing sample and rhetorical device instruction. Introduced modern literary eras from transcendentalism to modernism and authors including Thoreau, Steinbeck, Fitzgerald, and Hemingway. Introduced the novel The Great Gatsby, encouraged class discussions, and discussed its lasting impact on American literature. Graded student work, produced progress reports, and developed strong relationships with teachers, administrators, and staff members.
