Accomplishments
Obtained Yankee White Category 2 clearance and an active DoD secret clearance as Radio Lead to install and maintain public safety radio systems throughout the White House and the Washington, DC area. Set up a last-minute V25 VHF radio system for secret service communication after the movie theater shooting in Aurora, CO, in 2013. As a Radio Lead, supervised, mentored, and trained teams of up to 6 in equipment testing, radio coverage, and radio sites installations along motorcade routes.

Federal System Technologist August 2013 to Current Motorola Solutions Inc. – Lanham, MD Install, maintain, test, and repair public safety radio systems and communications equipment for various federal agencies throughout the Washington DC area. Troubleshoot, isolate, and repair Quantar repeaters and GPS modules for the US Supreme Court. Act as Motorola liaison to the US Capitol Police (USCP) for migration to new $MM radio system, provide portable radio training to USCP officers, and update APX 6000 portable and mobile radios. Provide preventative maintenance of Federal Bureau of Prisons radio systems. Developed a standard operating procedure (SOP) guide to correctly provision a radio for the USCP trunking radio system. Awards: Awarded Presidential Service Badge. Joint Service Commendation Medal. Wideband Radio Lead September 2009 to August 2013 White House Communication Agency, Bolling Air Force Base – Washington, DC Team lead responsible for providing secure and non-secure communications for the President, Vice President, White House Staff, and US Secret Service. Oversaw design, installation, and operation of radio networks and video teleconferencing systems with over 1,600 equipment items in excess of $1.5M. Deployed to over 60 locations worldwide as the on-site subject matter expert for establishing temporary VHF P25 radio networks and satellite communications. Installed over 15 SATCOM circuits and achieved 100% up time for customers. Developed an SOP guide with standards and directions on installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of VHF and satellite communications networks.
