The increased use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) has necessitated a new lens through which to examine resumes. Formatting is being scaled back to accommodate ATS systems (straightforward and simple formatting yields the best results), and text is being carefully selected to optimize keyword identification and search engine capabilities.
