Don't Forget to Sign Your Cover Letter

TeenaRoseBook.jpg Just typing your name is not enough — you must also sign the letter. A handwritten signature adds a personal touch to the cover letter, and leaving it off might seem to be a careless mistake to the employer. Never use a script font or other computer program to print your signature. Use only blue or black ink and sign your name neatly. Try your best to make your name as legible as possible; even though your name is typed underneath, you don’t want to give the employer the impression that you are sloppy.
