About 44 percent of employers surveyed for the 2010 Orange County Resume Survey* said they prefer to receive e-mailed resumes from job-seekers as a Word .doc attachment only, as opposed to pasted in the body of an e-mail (preferred by only 2.3 percent of respondents) or in addition to being pasted into the body of the e-mail (favored by 9.5 percent).
