Most Resumes Need More White Space

The Research Study: How Does Your Résumé Compare? Competitive Career Intelligence for 6-Figure Canadians* found that 82 percent of résumés evaluated hampered visual impact and readability with inadequate white space. Employers and recruiters prefer résumés without dense blocks of type as they tend to be cleaner documents. Adequate white space enhances the appearance of the résumé and encourages readability.
