Same Cover-Letter Rules Apply to Their Email Counterparts

The information block found at the top of the page in written letters goes underneath your signature in email. Copy and paste your cover letter into the email, or write it in the body of the email. Make sure your signature line includes your name, address, phone number and email, and that the subject line of the email refers to the position you’re inquiring about. Before you send it off, double-check your grammar, spelling, punctuation and tone.
