Dear Ms. Zeifer,I am currently studying health sciences at Ohio State University, so I believe I have a lot to learn from your internship. However, I also believe I have much to offer to make the United Prostate Cancer Foundation run more efficiently.I am well-suited to conduct plenty of research. Currently, I work as an assistant for one of my professors where I help her in her field of study, namely cancer research. I provide her with the data she needs in order to write papers and teach classes more effectively. If the United Prostate Cancer Foundation is looking for an intern who will contribute to the overall success of the organization, I would be a great asset. For example, as a research assistant, I noticed that it would take quite a while to log all the data. I did some research and discovered a new software program that could cut the time spent logging data in half. We have been able to be so much more productive since implementing this new system.I still have a lot to learn, but I believe becoming an intern at the United Prostate Cancer Foundation could be mutually beneficial for everyone. Thank you for your time and consideration, and I hope to hear from you soon.
