June 2009 to May 2010 Fix It Right Construction – Corn Growers, IA Millwright Apprentice – Used power tools to prepare wood pieces for construction projects. – Measured twice and cut once to ensure that wood panels fit an apartment building properly. – Visualized building in 3D in order to accomplish project goals. July 2010 to April 2013 Iron Workers Union – Corn Growers, IA Millwright Apprentice – Read diagrams, drawings and blueprints for direction of project construction. – Operated forklift to move supplies into position. – Used front loader to remove garbage, brush and small trees from construction site. May 2013 to August 2014 Sturdy Construction – Corn Growers, IA Millwright Apprentice – Repaired hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical equipment. – Welded parts onto automobile frame to fix broken features. – Replaced all inventory that was used for previous jobs anticipating peak periods of the year.
