  • DO treat your summary as an “elevator pitch.” Imagine your summary as a job interview, in which you’ve just been asked to state your most notable qualities and career achievements within a few seconds. Come up with traits and past responsibilities that match what the employer is looking for, and encapsulate them all in a couple of sentences. For example: “Detail-oriented Logistics Analyst with 7+ years of experience specializing in LMI data analysis and compliance. Well-versed in ensuring timely deliveries for commercial and residential clients.”
