Getting started with our Resume Customizer is as easy as selecting a job. Once you have a My Perfect Resume account, you can access the dashboard where your resumes are stored. For each resume, you’ll be given a selection of job postings that closely match your skills. For each job, you can update the skills in your resume to match the posting, by clicking “modify skills.” You can also customize your skills by going directly to the job posting and clicking “customize now” in the right column.

When you select a job, our customization window will feature recommendations for skills crafted by career experts, and tailored for every occupation and industry. Simply add the new skills that best fit your current skills (and the job description) to your resume. You can also make adjustments to other resumes you’ve created by clicking “change resume” at the top of the customization window.

3 Save, download and send in a flash

Once you’ve made changes to your resume, you can preview them, and then save your resume under a new title. From there you can easily download and submit it as part of any job application. We recommend that you save your resume using a file name such as “[your name] [job] Resume” so hiring managers can keep track of you - and you can keep track of your applications.
