  2. Skills As mentioned above, employers look for personality traits like patience, calmness, compassion and an energetic approach. Also mention any training in First Aid, CPR and babycare, which adds further weight to your resume.
  3. Work history Mention any babysitting work experience, including any volunteer service rendered to the community. Look at babysitting job descriptions for keywords that describe duties and responsibilities, and include them here where appropriate. Mention initiatives you’ve taken, such as “created basic hygiene awareness,” “implemented lesson planning in a play-way method” or “taught basic social skills.”
  4. Education Though there are no technical qualifications required to be a babysitter, if you have these specific credentials and training fit the job, mention them:

  • Create the right “elevator pitch” in your summary In a few short sentences, provide an overview of your babysitting skills, experience and achievements.
